Core Network and Services Engineer
YOUR MISSION
In Sateliot we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to join our team in the Core Network
and Services Working Group.
As a Core Network and Services Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and
maintenance of the technical specifications related to the core network and network services in the
mobile telecommunications domain. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the interoperability,
reliability, and performance of our mobile networks.
YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS
• Collaborate with experts from member companies and organizations in the Core Network and
Services Working Group to develop and refine technical specifications for the core network and
network services.
• Contribute to the definition of protocols, interfaces, and functionalities of core network
elements, such as the MME, S-GW, P-GW, and HSS.
• Participate in the specification of network interfaces between core network elements and
interfaces between the core network and the radio access network.
• Assist in the development of procedures and protocols for mobility management, session
management, and subscriber data management.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in core network and service technologies, standards,
and industry trends.
• Analyze and provide technical insights on the impact of emerging technologies and requirements
on the core network and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of core network
components with other network elements and services.
• Conduct testing and validation of core network and service functionalities to ensure compliance
with specifications and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the core network and services during the
development and deployment phases.
• Contribute to the documentation, presentations, and knowledge sharing activities related to the
core network and services domain.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science,
or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mobile telecommunications networks, with a focus on the core network
and network services.
• Familiarity with 3GPP standards and specifications, especially related to core network
architectures and protocols.
• Proven experience with open-source platforms (e.g., OpenAirInterface OAI, Magma Core,
Open5GS, srsLTE, ...).
• Experience in designing, developing, or maintaining core network elements such as MME, S-
GW, P-GW, or HSS is highly desirable.
• Proficient in programming languages (e.g., C++) and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for
prototyping and testing.
• Solid knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including IP, TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP, and
Diameter.
• Experience with network simulation and testing tools for validating core network and service
functionalities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical
issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented,
multicultural environment.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, standards, and project requirements.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Research patent engineer
Your mission
We are looking for an experienced Research Patent Engineer with a strong background in telecommunications and mobile networks, to join our innovative team. Also, with experience in the research and development process for obtaining patents, comprehensive knowledge of the complete patent lifecycle, and proficiency in Technology Assets Management. As a Research Patent Engineer, your role will be in developing new patents for our NB-IoT network ecosystem, collaborating with crossfunctional teams, and mentoring engineers to foster a culture of innovation.
Your main functions
- Perform research and development of new ideas, assessing their potential for patentability.
- Lead the development of Patentability Assessments, transforming ideas from innovation projects and network operations into initial patent formulations by doing research and development.
- Conduct patent search on specialised platforms to identify and analyse key words and check if the ideas are novel and non-obvious.
- Collaborate closely with engineers across departments to identify future patent opportunities.
- Guide the patent process, from conceptualising ideas and initial assessments to publishing patents, in collaboration with lawyers and engineers.
- Work intimately with legal experts to develop and solidify patent claims.
- Cooperate with cross-functional teams to define and draft new patents.
- Stay up to date in the latest advancements in NB-IoT and wireless communication technologies, focusing on new patent developments.
- Mentor and guide other engineers to improve the patent research and development process.
Requirements
- Proven expertise as a Research Patent Engineer and in-depth knowledge of the patenting process and in the research process.
- Knowledge on 3GPP, IoT and telematics.
- Comprehensive understanding of the patent procedure, encompassing everything from initial assessment to final publication.
- Strong documentation & communication skills (written and verbal), proactive, and eager to be part of a unique and disruptive project.

Technical Product Owner NB-IOT Applications
Your mission
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Product Owner to lead the integration of third-party NB-IoT applications with NB-IoT RF modules and standard 3GPP Mobile Network Operators over our Non-Terrestrial space infrastructures to deploy Proof of Concept in different verticals where devices, out of coverage of terrestrial network, can leverage our infrastructure.
Your main functions
- Integration Ownership: Take ownership of the end-to-end integration of third-party NB-IoT applications with NB-IoT RF modules and 3GPP Mobile Network Operators and Sateliot NTN space network with hands-on integration.
- Requirements Management: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements for the integration project. Define clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications, and success KPIs to guide development efforts.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, network engineers, and QA testers. Ensure alignment with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, third-party IoT applications, and 3GPP Mobile Network Operators to drive successful integration and deployment of IoT solutions. Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management: Lead agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
- Quality Assurance: Define and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of integrated IoT solutions. Conduct thorough testing and validation activities to validate system functionality and compliance with requirements jointly with the laboratory test team.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness of IoT integration processes. Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned into future projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+years of experience in IoT product development, with a focus on wireless communications and cellular technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully integrating IoT applications with NB-IoT RF modules and 3GPP Mobile Network Operators.
- Strong technical background in IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP) and cellular networks (e.g., LTE-M, NB-IoT).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid project management skills, with experience leading agile development teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner) and IoT-related technologies are a plus

Senior Project Manager in United Kingdom
Your mission will be helping the technology team to build Sateliot’s mobile operator by successfully
managing projects.
YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS
• Manage projects to ensure that all deliverables are on time, in budget and technically correct
within scope.
• Coordinate stakeholders to ensure contract milestones are achieved within specified cost and
time constraints.
• Ensure that project planning, monitoring, and reporting provides accurate information to
assess project performance.
• Communicate plans, needs, and results to the CTO.
• Undertake liaison and relationship management with strategic partners necessary to deliver
the projects including engagement in key or targeted customer activities.
• Ensure the successful implementation of the PMO.
REQUIREMENTS
• BSc in Engineering of Telecommunications with specialization in Project Management.
• Senior Project Manager with minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience with technology development projects (ideally Mobile Operator sector and OSS
systems).

NB-IoT Test Engineer
In your role as an NB-IoT Test Engineer, you will be immersed in a collaborative and adaptive environment,
where your efforts will have a substantial impact across all elements of the Sateliot solution - from
terminals to constellation and service management software, encompassing critical components such as
satellite payload, eNodeB and core network softwares, and ground segment components. Your
contributions will be crucial throughout various phases of the Sateliot solution evolution, from
conceptualization and lab testing to in-orbit testing and the operational phase of the service.
YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS
• Develop and define comprehensive test procedures for NB-IoT network elements, ensuring to
simplify complex tasks for a universal understanding and fluid execution.
• Set up the necessary test environments and configurations to execute test procedures
effectively. Write on-ground test procedures. Design and develop test scripts.
• Execute test procedures meticulously, ensuring all aspects of the NB-IoT network are thoroughly
evaluated.
• Record and report test results, including identifying issues and deviations from expected
outcomes.
• Debug and troubleshoot interface problems, working diligently to identify root causes and
implement solutions.
• Interface and collaborate actively with NB-IoT engineers and architects to relay testing insights,
provide feedback, and assist in improving network components, fostering a culture of knowledge
sharing and cohesive teamwork.
• Collaborate with third-party providers when necessary to enhance the testing process.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test procedures, configurations, and results.
• Support technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Mobile Operators to facilitate Home Routed Roaming (HRR) connections and
perform testing related to roaming interfaces within Sateliot roaming technical team.
• During space mission execution support satellite operations for in-orbit activities, write in-orbit
E2E Test Procedure and support to debug in-orbit anomalies.
• Support satellite operators for payload activities during commissioning and testing.
• Maintain and evolve testbed capabilities.
• Interface with main test equipment vendors for 3GPP procedures.
• Maintain Laboratory equipment (SW upgrades, calibrations, repairs, procurement of new
components, inventory, etc.). Laboratory network administration (VPN access, SSH keys, etc.).
Support and lead the integration of new equipment.
• Ensure the Testbed in representative of space scenarios.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Linux Environment and shell scripting.
• Experience with RF Laboratory environment and equipment.
• Hands-on experience with networking protocols and tools (e.g., Ethernet, TCP, UDP, IP, ICMP,
DNS, Wireshark, etc.).
• Familiarity with 3GPP standards and network architectures. Particular knowledge of NB-IoT is a
plus (protocols and interfaces, including Uu, S1, S11, S8, S6a, and SGi).
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• Proven senior-level experience in a similar role within mobile operators, device manufacturers,
or chip manufacturers.
• Extensive experience in developing and executing test procedures for wireless communication
systems.
• Familiarity with Home Routed Roaming (HRR) and the interaction between Visited PLMN and
Home PLMN.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams,
Mobile Operators, and third-party providers.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing activities.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple test cases and deadlines.
